Kołobrzeg is located on the south coast of the Baltic, on the Parsęta River in the middle of the section divided by the Oder and Vistula Rivers. The city is situated between two makroregions – Szczecin Baltic Coast and Koszalin Baltic Coast
The east side of the city belongs to Slowinski Baltic Coast and the west region is a part of Trzebiatow Coast.
Kołobrzeg today is a popular tourist destination for both Poles and the Germans.. It provides a unique combination of a seaside resort, health resort, an old town full of historic monuments and tourist entertainment options (e.g. numerous “beer gardens”)
